Missouri basketball fans will be hearing a new voice as they listen to the Tigers on the radio this season as longtime analyst Gary Link has been let go by the university, per the Kansas City Star.

The Missouri athletic department released the following statement:

“Gary Link has been relieved of his duties with Mizzou Athletics, however, it would be inappropriate to comment further on a personnel matter. The athletic department is working with Mizzou Sports Properties to identify a replacement for our radio broadcasts moving forward.”

Link, who played for the Tigers from 1970-74, had been announcing Tigers games for close to 20 years.
