The 2017 season continues to be a lost one for Arkansas, which fell to 2-5 overall (0-4 SEC) with a 52-20 loss to No. 21 Auburn on Saturday night in Fayetteville.

The loss, as expected, only continued to ignite the “fire Bret Bielema” crowd.

Check out what Arkansas fans are saying about the performance and join the conversation here.

Note: Comments are taken verbatim from Arkansas Razorbacks — SEC Country and only edited for spelling.

Tommy Gene Green: We are just a terrible football team. Offense, defense, coaching. Even Missouri is improving. We are worst team in SEC now. No question.

Marylynn Jones Hale: Have tried so hard to be positive cause have always loved my Hogs and always will. But, something has got to change. This game was totally unacceptable. Embarrassing for fans and players. Fix it!!!

James Byler: The only acceptable thing for Brett to say at the post game press conference is: “I am resigning my position as head coach of the Razorbacks, effective immediately.”

Randy Clay: Time for BB to go. His expression never changed on the sideline. He doesn’t care. He just wants the $$. He’s a nice guy. I like him. He’s way over his head in the SEC.

Chris Hill: I wouldn’t go if I had free tickets. I feel bad for season ticket holders. This coach came in talking big to make us like him. Never talk trash if you can’t back it up. We are the laughing stock of the SEC.

Chris Martin: Arkansas has lost by 21 points or more 8 times in their last 14 games against Power 5 teams. Bielema said he wanted to give Arkansas something they have never had before. Mission Accomplished. Arkansas has never been this bad over a 5 year stretch since joining the SEC.

Robby Vocque: Please get Coach B on the next bus out of town!! I don’t make millions but I will pay for his ticket!!!

Colt Griffin: Another strong showing by the HOGS!!! Who knew you could score 20 points without an offensive line? And how about our punter!?? Most punting yards of the game.

Joey Fisher: The shame of it all is that I use to get physically sick when the hogs lost… Saturday’s in the fall were make or break for my weekends!! Anymore I am numb to it & it is just what is expected! Never in my lifetime have I witnessed 3 beatings like this with a team that has no pride & no fight…. They too are just going through the motions and are numb… Zero passion at the top has trickled all the way to the bottom. Hate to admit it but Houston we have a problem!! & I miss you! WPS!

Scott Pressnall: First off, We need to get rid of the guy(Jeff Long) who started all this by hiring a Clown(Bret Bielema)and offering Him way more than what he is worth and not protecting the School(University of Arkansas) with a clause in the contract stating if He cant produce a decent Team then He only gets a portion of the pay in a buyout! Seems we are getting worse each year!!
