It all relates to a lyric from one of Swift's songs
Maggie Gyllenhaal has discussed how Taylor Swift fans keep asking her if she has the starâs missing scarf.
The actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week when Andy Cohen asked about a lyric on Swiftâs song âAll Too Wellâ, allegedly about Gyllenhaalâs brother and Swiftâs ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. The lyric in question sees Swift sing about how she âleft my scarf there at your sisterâs houseâ.
âYou know, I never understood why everybody asked me about this scarf,â Gyllenhaal said. âBut I have been asked this before and Iâve been like âWhat are you talking about?'â
On whether or not she could still have Swiftâs missing scarf, Gyllenhaal replied: âI am in the dark about the scarf. Itâs totally possible. I donât know.â Watch in the clip below.
Meanwhile, Zayn Malik has defended Taylor Swift, saying that he doesnât âhave a bad word to say about herâ. The two artists previously collaborated on last yearâs âI Donât Wanna Live Foreverâ.
Speaking to Fader recently, Malik was asked about the criticism often directed at Swift. He replied: âI rate her as an artist, I think sheâs cool, I think sheâs successful, and I think she deserves her success because sheâs worked hard. Thatâs just how I look at it. I did a song with her, it was fun, she was professional. She gets on with my girlfriend, theyâre good friends. I donât have a bad word to say about her. Sheâs cool.â
