Earlier this year, it was announced that skate icon Keith Hufnagel was returning to his roots -- relaunching his revered Metropolitan label. A hallmark of NYC's gritty ‘90s skate scene, the label dissolved in 1996 to the dismay of its loyal followers, however, has since returned picking up right where it left off.
A brand new collection has surfaced, which sees an assemblage of casual staples take on the brand’s artistic design cues. Shot by Ari Marcopoulos, the lookbook visuals embrace deep sentiments of nostalgia, as members of Metro’s original team, including Gino Iannucci, Mike Hernandez and Bobby Puelo can be seen fronting the campaign -- decked out in the brand’s newest offerings. The lineup itself is comprised of graphic T-shirts, long-sleeve crewneck tops and skyline logo hats in a wide range of color schemes. The new collection will be available via the label’s online shop as of September 14 at 9 a.m. EST.
