James Argent reckons he's got his flirting game down a tee now - that is, until he literally dribbles all over his date on Celebs Go Dating.

The TOWIE star is enjoying a dinner date when he gets a little too excited and salivates all over his food.

In Mirror Online's exclusive clip from Thursday night's episode , Arg confidently tells the cameras: "I've got this flirting down to an absolute tee."

But then things go horribly, horribly wrong when he shoves a forkful of food into his mouth and dribbles all over it.

Awkward

"Stop right there," narrator Rob Beckett insists. "What the hell just happened?"

The footage rewinds to show Arg's dribbling in all its disgusting glory once more, but this time in slow motion.

Rob says: "What you doing? It's coming out like a waterfall."

And Arg tells the cameras: "I think I got away with that. Hopefully she didn't see."

But I mean, she probably did see, right?

It was pretty obvious ... and right in front of her face.

Whoops!
He tries to talk his way out of it

And even if by some miracle she didn't see it, he then tells her about it anyway.

"I'm really sorry," he says. "But for some reason I really dribbled badly. I think I dribbled quite badly onto my plate. And I don't know why.

"I think my mouth's got a lot of saliva in it and I don't understand.

"Or maybe it's the spice."

Good save, Arg.
