Director James Gray's film about obsession and exploration in the Amazon shows flashes of potential with beautiful cinematography, but ultimately falls short of its greater promise.

That's one way to say, "thanks for letting me pee here." Amy Schumer was jogging in Chicago recently when she had a bathroom emergency. Thankfully, Sagine Lazarre, an employee at the Six Corners Mattress Firm, graciously let the comedienne use the bathroom since she was in dire need of one. SEE ALSO: Amy Schumer takes down sexist censorship policies Lazarre told Chicago's WGN News last week that Schumer, "comes out of the bathroom and asks me which one of these (mattresses) is my favorite. How much is credible, factual, internet-based information worth? A lot, evidently. Question-and-answer website Quora has raised a fresh round of $85 million dollars in its quest to become the go-to resource for people with questions — and people with answers. The round values the company at roughly $1.8 billion, according to a company spokesperson (who said that the valuation had roughly doubled from its previous valuation of $900 million). Quora launched privately in 2009 but and quickly drew buzz in the tech community in part because it was started by two well-respected early Facebook employees. Sometimes, it's best just to lay down the facts. Skrillex was pulled over by police outside a Pinkberry in Hollywood on Thursday for blasting his own demos too loud in his Tesla and was handcuffed for driving without identification. A fan (who may or may not have been enjoying frozen yogurt) identified him as Sonny Moore to the officer and caught the whole thing on Snapchat, adding a soundtrack of Skillex's collaboration with A$AP Rocky, "Wild for the Night." She then tweeted a video of the whole saga. Skrillex retweeted the Criterion-collection worthy collection of Snapchats and mentioned Elon Musk in the conversation to compliment Tesla speakers. Ever throw your controller in frustration because that punch or that shot didn't land and you just KNOW it should have? Well, blame the hitbox. Hitboxes are a developer's way of defining the space around an object — usually one that's animated — that can be hit in real-time. Some objects will have a set of hitboxes that overlap each other, ensuring that no matter how fast the thing is going, the range around its shape is as accurate as mathematically possible. Chris Wagar has compiled a huge gallery of different video games, showing off how exactly each of them handles collision detection on their characters. The multi-colored, boxy shapes drawn around recognizable characters almost feels like a modern, simplified take on cubism that I could totally see hung up on someone's brick-wall apartment.
